Cincinnati, OH -- (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson left Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Detroit Lions in the first quarter after landing awkwardly on his left shoulder.Lions cornerback Brian Kelly hit Johnson as he attempted to catch a pass from Carson Palmer on Cincinnati's first series. Kelly came up with the interception as the flamboyant wideout landed on his left side. The Pro Bowl receiver remained on the ground for a few moments before retreating to the sideline. Team trainers looked at the shoulder before Johnson headed to the locker room for further examination. It was later determined that it is a strained left shoulder and that medical tests found no fracture. In addition to losing Johnson, wide receiver Andre Caldwell and defensive tackle Pat Sims left the game with a sprained foot and turf toe injury, respectively. The Bengals are already without T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has now missed both of Cincy's preseason duels with a sore hamstring.
