No Injuries Reported

Fire destroyed a Northern Kentucky home and was so intense it scorched the house next door, News 5's Bina Roy reported.

A family called 911 after finding their home on fire at about 8 a.m. at 10430 Remy Ln.

A neighbor said she looked out her window, saw the fire and ran to get her phone. By the time she returned to the window, she said the house was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters said they could see the smoke from a distance and the fire was already through the roof by the time they arrived, Roy reported.

The fire was extinguished at about 9:30 a.m. and investigators said they believe the fire started in the back of the home.

No injuries were reported.
