Vice-Mayor To Meet About Possible Smoking Ban

A meeting is set for Wednesday about a possible smoking ban in the city.

Vice Mayor Alicia Reece will sit down with the Cincinnati Health Department to talk about the effects a ban would have on the city, WLWT News 5 reported.

A 13 member panel has been put together to weigh the pros and cons.

Five states, which include New York, California, Delaware, Connecticut and Maine, along with 70 cities such as Lexington,Ky., has imposed indoor-smoking bans, WLWT reported.
