Measure To Crack Down On Panhandlers Needs Further Review
Council Sends Proposal Back To Committee
CINCINNATI -- It may be back to the drawing board for a law designed to crackdown on panhandling.
Cincinnati City Council voted Wednesday night to send the proposal back to committee for further review, WLWT Eyewitness News 5 reported.
The ordinance would require panhandlers to register with the city and carry photo ID cards.
Council members were scheduled to vote on the measure Wednesday, but there were not enough votes to pass it.
