McConnell Released From Hospital
Kentucky Senator Recovers From Triple-Bypass Surgery
U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell was released Friday from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and is now at his Washington, D.C., home.
McConnell (pictured, left), R-Ky., underwent triple-bypass surgery Monday.
"I am feeling great and am happy to be home," McConell said. "I am touched by all the well-wishes I have received from my friends in Kentucky and across the nation. I look forward to getting back to work soon."
