CINCINNATI -- A Hamilton County couple is accused of binding two children hand and foot on several occasions.Prosecutors said Kena Ross and Christopher Gray are accused of tying up the boys, age 4 and 5, in April.Police said the charges were filed based on statements from the children and evidence that the adults did not seek timely medical care for the children.
Authorities said Ross and her boyfriend tied up her sons by their wrists and ankles so they would not get out of bed, and neighbors said they were shocked.“It’s kind of crazy,” said neighbor Cordel Fitzpatrick. “I don't know why you'd tie kids up, (because) ain't no kids that bad to be tied up like that.”Ross had two other children, including a 3-week-old child, who prosecutors said were not harmed.Ross and Gray each remain in police custody on $150,000 bond.
