'Kentucky Joe' Survives Radio Gig
Bingham Appears On B-105
CINCINNATI -- Greater Cincinnati's contribution to television's "Survivor" appeared on a local radio program Tuesday morning.
Rodger Bingham of Crittenden, Ky., chatted with the morning show cast on B-105, WLWT Eyewitness News 5 reported.
Listeners were given an opportunity to question Bingham, who was occasionally called "Kentucky Joe" on the show.Bingham's wife, daughter and son-in-law joined him in the studio, WLWT reported.During the interview, Bingham joked that he would have done just about anything for food during his stay in the Australian Outback.Bingham and his fellow castaways even considered eating snakes, he said."You can eat poisoness snakes," he said. "At that point, you would eat mustard off a log. Just lick the mustard off!"
